Preaching and teaching

God speaks through his word by his Spirit

People who come to Calvary often say they appreciate the ministry of God’s word – plain simple and true. We pray each week that the Holy Spirit would empower the opening up of God’s living word so that the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is progressed – christians strengthened, and those not yet christians brought to faith.

Our preaching team includes Elder Chris Fry, Deacons Steve Ellacott and Ben Alltimes, and Pastor Philip Wells who does the majority of the teaching and preaching. We also have visiting speakers from time to time.
