We welcome visitors to all of our main meetings.
All the following are “on hold” during the Corona Virus pandemic.
If you are unsure about what meeting to come to, we suggest you try the Sunday 11:00am meeting, or alternatively the Sunday 6.30pm meeting. (See the map page for directions.)
10:00am Prayer Meeting or Communion (for born-again Christians, first Sunday in month)
11:00 am Morning Meeting – this meeting lasts for about 1 hour and 35 minutes, and consists of singing, praying and listening to the Bible being explained and news items. There are usually 60-80 people present.
There are groups for children, a creche room with audio relay, and some help with childcare is available.
Church Lunch- “Bring and share” – this free lunch takes place for the whole church (including visitors) usually on the second Sunday of the month, though it may vary from time to time.
6.00 pm (approx) Prayer Meeting
6.30pm Evening Meeting – our second main meeting on a Sunday lasts for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. There are usually 20-30 people present. There is sometimes an opportunity for questions and answer sessions, and often (optionally) a time for prayer for one another in small groups.
Unlike the morning meeting, there are no special activities for the children – but there is a creche room with a sound relayed through.
8pm (approx.) Communion – third Sunday in month – for born-again Christians
7.30 for 7.45pm till about 9.15pm Mid-Week Meeting (held in the Gates Room)– informal meeting consisting of teaching, discussion, singing and prayer. Please use the side door in Viaduct Road (next to the Fire Station and to the left of the main glass door), the Gates Room is at the end of the corridor.
Calvary International Cafe (CIC) 7pm to 9pm for all students, CIC has a varied programme of activities, games and conversation and is for those of all faiths and none.
