By Bus
By Bus: Aim for the Preston Circus bus stop. Alternatively, the London Road Shops or Open Market stops are just a short walk away.
Local routes serving Preston Circus: 5, 5A, 5B, 52, 270, 271, 272, 273.
By Train
London Road Station: 5-minute walk.
Brighton Main Station: 10–15 minute walk (taxis are available at the station front).
By Car
From the North (M23 / A23): Join the A23 from the end of the M23 heading south into Brighton.
From the East or West (A27): Leave the A27 Brighton Bypass at the A23 junction (signposted Brighton) and join the A23 southbound.
Final Approach:
- Continue on the A23 for 2.4 miles south of the A27.
- At the southern end of Preston Park, follow the one-way system left into Stanford Avenue, then follow the main road around to the right onto Beaconsfield Road.
- Drive under the railway viaduct to the Preston Circus traffic lights (by the Duke of York Cinema and Fire Station).
- Turn left into Viaduct Road—the main entrance is right next door to the Fire Station but head just beyond there to Shaftsbury Road on the left to find roads you can park on.
Car Parking
On-street: Take first left after the church building on Shaftesbury Road to find on road parking. Check signs as some are permit holders only. You will need to pay by “paybyphone” mobile phone app
London Road Car Park: The nearest multi-storey car park with plenty of spaces available and it is a 5-10 minute walk away.
Brighton Station Car Park: A solid second choice for car parks nearby is the one at Brighton railway station which is a 10-15 minute walk away.
